TROY MICR Toner Secure™ was created to help prevent check fraud. The patented security agent forces a bright red stain to permeate through the check if chemical alteration is attempted.
High adhesion properties strengthen the bond between the toner and check paper to help guarantee concise bank readability and to help prevent check scraping (a common fraud technique) and bank fees for you.
HP only supports MICR products in LaserJet Printers that have been modified to the TROY specification. TROY products exceed OEM standards, are fully supported by HP Service and will NOT void the HP manufacturer's warranty.
