The Insteon I/O Linc plugs into a wall outlet and provides a single dry contact closure input, and a single relay output (Form C - both normally open & normally closed contacts). Once connected it can be linked to your Insteon automation system to provide integration with sensors, trigger garage doors and other contacts and provide basic alarm panel integration.
The input is compatible with any contact closure device such as a door/window sensor, garage door (overhead door) magnetic contact, water sensor, floor sensor, etc. This is NOT a voltage input, it is a dry contact input.
The output is a Form C relay which means it provides both normally open and normally closed connections. It operates in 4 modes:
