This Insteon dimmer is similar to the SwitchLinc standard dimmer but it's designed to be used with incandescent lights in circumstances where no neutral wire is available at the switch location. The SwitchLinc RF 2 Wire dimmer can be a member of multiple Insteon scenes and supports user selectable on levels and ramp rates so you can create elegant lighting scenes. As an Insteon RF only device, it can be controlled directly by RF devices such as Insteon motion sensors or Insteon wireless remotes. If it's to be controlled by a single band (powerline only) Insteon device, your network must include some dual-band devices or 2443 access point within range.
