The Insteon FanLinc is an ingenious device designed specifically for ceiling fans. This module installs in the ceiling fan cowling where you have access to wiring for the fan and fan's light. The FanLinc has dual load control built in and provides HI-MED-LOW control of the fan speed and dimming control of the lights.
Dual band INSTEON technology uses both powerline and RF wireless communications to ensure rock solid performance and this also means the FanLinc can be directly controlled by any Insteon Wireless device such as a RemoteLinc, RemoteLinc2 or wired devices such as a KeypadLinc. Or if you have an automation controller installed it can be controlled by the automation controller.

Hint: Make sure you record the Insteon address when installing the InlineLinc. You can use it to set up Insteon links remotely using HouseLinc Desktop, Powerhome or Indigo software. If you are performing manual set-up make sure to set it up prior to closing up the box/fixture.
