The DoorBird A1081 I/O Door Controller lets you control up to three different doors and gates over a DoorBird IP video door station or network. No physical wires need to be connected from the door or gate and the door station, removing the risk of surges which could lead to potential unauthorized entry.
Signals transmitted from the door station and the DoorBird I/O Door Controller are all encrypted and tamperproof according to banking standards. The connection can be accomplished either through a network cable (PoE) or WiFi.
The door controller should be installed indoors and can be placed in a secure space such as a cabinet in the basement or another low traffic area of your property.
By downloading the DoorBird app on your smartphone, you’ll be able to receive push notifications about when someone is trying to access your door. The app also has audio and video capabilities to let you see and hear who is at your door. It even retains visitor history so you can check who was there while you were away. By having the controller connected to the app, you can open doors and gates from anywhere in the world with a smartphone or event configuration such as an RFID or keypad code.
