The probe is buried underground, ensuring discreet security, while the transmitter is weatherproof and perfect for the harsh outdoors.
The transmitter operates using three CR123a batteries, with a 250-foot burial wire for the probe. If the probe is buried parallel to the driveway, it can detect vehicles within 10 to 12 feet. A signal will be sent from the kit to the RE-4K+ receiver up to 1 mile away.
When the kit is connected to the RE-4K plus receiver, the receiver can play one of 16 tunes to distinguish different zones.
