Your monitor is elevated above the desktop, which frees up precious workspace. You can also slide the monitor along grooves and then adjust the viewing angle for optimal ergonomics. Grooves on both sides of the slat rail accommodate independently adjustable monitor setups when desks are pushed together back-to-back.
