The ELK-124 V2 from Elk is an 8 channel recordable voice/music module for use in any number of applications including security and automation announcements, on-hold messages, vehicular paging and more.
The ELK-124 has a built-in microphone so recording is easy and fast -- just push the record button. Alternately, the ELK-129 computer interface may be used to download .WAV files from a computer.
This module can be connected directly to a speaker or through line output to an external amplifier or paging system.
ELK-124 8 Channel Voice/Music Annunciator V2 Features:
- 8 Channels for recording voice/music
- Each channel can record up to 1 minute, total maximum recording time of 8 minutes
- Non volatile memory for storing recordings so they won't be lost during power outages
- Each channel selectable to be ""-"" or ""+"" triggered
- Each channel can accept a momentary trigger
- Continuous or ""one shot"" playback
- Built-in microphone and push-to-record button
- Can record .wav files from a PC using the ELK-129 interface
- Built-in 24 Watt amplifier, and adjustable speaker volume
- Line-level output for external amplifier or paging system connection
- Operating voltage: 11-14 VDC
- Current draw: 0.2 to 2A depending on speaker volume/draw
- Max speaker loading: 4 ohms
- Includes white plastic enclosure: 6.5""W x 4.375""H x 2""D
