The Fellowes UVC bulb is a germicidal bulb for use in the Fellowes Array AR1 UVC air purification system. The lamp uses UVC radiation, which is a safe alternative to UVA and UVB radiation options for disabling and killing pathogens on first pass. Designed for use in the AR1 UVC air purification system only-- this bulb is not a replacement for traditional light fixtures.
The pre-filter captures large particulate matter like dust and hair to keep the UV chamber of the AR1 UVC purifier clean to ensure effective UVC exposure to microscopic pathogens. Pre-filter designed to last one year but can be changed more frequently in high particulate environments.
Please note: the bulbs contain mercury and require specialized disposal. It is recommended that you take advantage of your local hazardous waste disposal facility following end-of-life. Do not dispose of the bulb with household waste.
