The Fibaro Micro Dimmer 2 is a universal module for controlling virtually any sort of lighting load. It can be used as a dimmer with dimmable LED, CFL, incandescent and halogen lighting. It can be used for on/off control of non-dimming CFL or fluorescent lights. The module has the ability to calibrate itself to match the load type. The Micro Dimmer 2 also supports energy monitoring when used with compatible automaton systems.
The tiny size allows the Micro Dimmer 2 to be installed behind a standard wall switch in the junction box allowing regular wall switches and decorator switches to be Zwave enabled. The Micro Dimmer 2 is Zwave plus enabled so it can be used with a Zwave or Zwave Plus enabled automation controller.
The Micro Dimmer 2 may be used in a 3 wire or 2 wire (without neutral) installation.
Note: When used with LED or CFL loads, a FGB-002 module must also be purchased and installed (sold separately).
