The Floodstop FS-3/4C V4 Water Heater automatic water shut off can help prevent leaking water from destroying your home and valuables. This version can be used for water heaters or any 3/4"" pipe. Water Heaters are generally considered a maintenance-free appliance, but they are also one of the single most damaging appliances in the home. Because Water Heaters are continually under pressure, even small pressurized leaks can quickly flood and devastate a home. Whether at home, at work, or on vacation these flooding events can go undetected for hours or even days.
There are also a normally open (NO) alarm outputs
The Floodstop auto water shut-off runs on an AC power adapter with battery backup.
Floodstop FS3/4C V4 - Water Heater Flood Detector Auto Shutoff Features:
- Floodstop valve splices in to the 3/4 inch supply line
- Pipe compression fittings
- AC adapter powered with battery back-up
- 4 ""AA"" Batteries last for up to 1 year (not included)
- Solid brass ""full port"" valve body, motor driven ball-valve
- When leak is detected, alarm sounds and water supply is automatically shut off
- Can be connected to alarm or automation system with the on-board (normally open) alarm output if desired
- Controller mounts on wall, sensor is placed at the base of the water heater
- Additional FSA-SENSOR water sensors can be purchased and daisy chained to provide extra water sensing coverage
- IAPMO certified for health, lead free and Universal Plumbing Code
- UL certified as a plumbing accessory
- Power supplies are certified for Canada and USA
