The Macurco GD-2B is a low voltage electronic methane (natural gas) and propane (heating gases) detector, designed to connect to alarm or fire panels.
The GD-2B can be surface mounted on a wall, or flush mounted to a single gang junction box for a lower profile installation. It's one of the nicest detectors around!
The detector has a built-in buzzer that can be disabled by a jumper setting in case silent operation is desired.

Macurco GD-2B Methane (Natural Gas) and Propane Detector Features:
- Flush mountable on single gang box, or Surface Mount on wall
- Can be powered by 12-24 VAC or 9-32 VDC input
- N.O. or N.C. Alarm Relay rated 100mA up to 40VDC
- N.C. Trouble/Supervisory relay, rated 100mA up to 40VDC
- Low Maintenance 7 year Solid-State Sensor
- Can be latching or self restoring
- Test and reset switch
- Solid state sensor, no maintenance or calibration required
- Built in buzzer produces loud alarm, or chirps in case of fault
- Coverage Area: 900 sq. ft.
- Alarm Setting 25% of LEL per UL 2075
- Does NOT detect smoke or carbon monoxide
- 2 year manufacturer's warranty
