The HomeSeer HomeTroller Pi G8 is a locally managed smart home hub designed to work with hundreds of the most popular brands and products-- from Z-Wave, Zigbee, Phillips HUE, Ecobee, LIFX, and many more-- without expensive add-ons or complicated setups and integrations. MyHS remote management provides the best of both worlds: allowing users to monitor, control and use your favourite connected devices, while local processing and automation ensures that your smart home network will be functional 24/7, even when the internet is down or a web service is unavailable. Local processing also eliminates common home controller nuisances like delays in automation or 'popcorning' when several connected devices are queued for cloud processing.
Fast, reliable and secure, the HomeTroller Pi G8 with HS4-Pi software combines devices like light switches, thermostats, door locks and garage door operators, water shut-offs, energy monitors, cameras, and much more. Your information is stored locally, not in the cloud, ensuring that your personal information remains safe. Works with popular Voice Assistants like Google Home or Amazon Alexa to provide an unparalleled smart home experience, and additional custom IFTTT 'applets' can integrate hundreds of additional web products and apps to create custom automations and routines to fit your lifestyle-- the only limit is your imagination!
Custom email and text alerts can alert connected users to things like camera alarms, connected sensors opening, etc.; allowing users to enhance their security and peace of mind. Requires an internet connected router for initial setup and remote control. Nortek Zigbee products are only supported with additional hardware (sold separately).
