HomeTroller Plus runs HS4 software locally - not ""in the cloud"" for fast and secure processing that works 24/7 even if the internet connection fails or the ""cloud"" goes offline.
At the same time, it includes a free myHS remote access service with e-mail or text alerts and the free HS Mobile app for iOS and Android.
Local information remains local, not in the cloud.

HomeTroller Plus works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice assistants for easy voice control in addition to app control.
IFTTT INTEGRATION
HomeTroller Plus works with IFTTT to enable integrations with third-party devices supported by IFTTT.
NOTE: This controller does NOT include a Zwave or Zigbee interface - they are sold separately.
HomeTroller Plus can support Insteon by adding the ""Mark Sandler Insteon Plugin"" and using a 2413U PLM or Insteon Hub. It does not support the serial PLM.
For ZWave support, you can add the HomeSeer Smartstick+ or HUSBZB1, or ZNET. The HUSBZB1 supports both ZWave and Zigbee.
