The Foscam SD8P 4K/8MP UHD Wi-Fi PTZ IP Camera is an autonomous PTZ camera that can work as a standalone security option, or integrated into a larger security system. With auto-tracking and auto-focus PTZ human/vehicle subject detection, the Foscam SD8P is capable of autonomously detecting trespassers, following subjects while maintaining crystal-clear focus, and even ringing a loud siren and flashing warning spotlights. End-users can also be alerted to alarms via the Foscam app, email notification, or over an FTP server.
Dual-band 2.4 GHz/5GHz WiFi creates a simplified setup process with a reliable connection with minimal signal interference, and the remote options allow users to manually take control of the camera for live viewing, full pan/tilt controls, and up to 4x optical zoom for extremely clear details at a distance. Two-way, full-duplex audio controls allow users to converse to visitors and guests through the camera, as well as deter trespassers and unwanted solicitors.
IP66 weatherproofing ensures protection against inclement weather—allowing for permanent indoor or outdoor installation, and the automatic 50-meter (164’) infrared night vision ensures 24/7 surveillance and alarming without additional light sources required. MicroSD card and Foscam Cloud Storage options allow users to deploy the SD8P both as the front line in any security system, as well as an excellent standalone camera for smaller properties and businesses.
