The Shelly Wave 2 UL Long Range in-line Z-Wave device with Power Metering wires in behind most standard-sized wallboxes and transforms ordinary lights and appliances, including resistive (incandescent bulbs, heating devices), capacitive (capacitor banks, electronic equipment, motor start capacitors) and inductive loads (RC Snubber required), into Z-Wave Long-Range capable smart devices with up to a massive 1 mile of transmission distance.
Supports switching of two separate 120V appliances. Historic and live power metering information keeps users up-to-date for connected appliances and can help save power by automatically turning appliances on/off based on usage information, consumption patterns, schedules, etc.
Selectable Z-Wave LR or Mesh networking supports a variety of installs—for smaller installs, Mesh networking increases the reliability of nearby or future Z-Wave sensors and devices; while Z-Wave LR transmission is optimized for large spaces like universities, hospitals, warehousing, and much more.
