The TX-E231 wireless door and window sensor is compatible with Interlogix, Qolsys and Elk 319.5 MHz receivers. It has a slim form factor and comes with both white and brown cover plates.
It's powered by a CR2032 battery that can last up to 5 years depending on the frequency of use.
The TX-E231 works like a standard magnetic sensor with the included magnet. But it also has built-in 'dry contact' input or external input that allows the sensor to connect to an external magnetic contact sensor, or other contact inputs.
Note: These must be installed on a flush, flat surface so the rear tamper switch is properly engaged and to avoid false tamper alerts. We recommend screw mounting to a sold surface. We do not recommend tape mounting.
