The Ecolink Firefighter for DSC wireless alarms, is a simle way to add smoke detection and carbon monoxide detection to your DSC Powerseries wireless alarm system, by listening for the alarm from your existing 120V smoke detectors and CO detectors.
If the existing wired smoke detectors are interconnected so they all go off together as in most installations - you'd only need one Firefighter next to the closest smoke detector in house.
The Firefighter can also listen for the alarm from wired or plug-in carbon monoxide detectors. If your CO detectors are plug in style and/or not interconnected you'll want to use one Firefighter per CO detector.
