Insteon Open Close Door Window Sensor (2843-222)

Automatically control lights or appliances when doors open and close with the INSTEON wireless open/close sensor. These units are battery operated (single AA battery) and completely wireless.

When the door/window/cabinet opens, the controlled device turns on.  When it closes, the device turns off.

It can also trigger an event through an automation controller like the ISY994 for more advanced control, timers and more.

You can also wire additional sensors (such as VIP100) to a single 2843-222 to monitor multiple doors/windows with a single sensor.

As this is a wireless device, it can link directly to a dual band device or relay to a powerline only device through any Insteon dual band device or repeater.
