The INSTEON water leak/flood sensor helps protect your home or business from costly water damage by alerting your INSTEON network as soon as water is detected at the sensor location. This sensor is perfect for bathrooms, furnace rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms or anywhere water leaks can occur.
When used with the INSTEON Hub or ISY99 or similar Internet Enabled home automation controllers you can check status remotely by browser or smartphone, and even have email alerts automatically sent in case of water detection.
Installation is simple with no screws, wiring or tape. Just enrol the sensor in your Insteon network and place it where needed. The included battery is good for up to 10 years.
Note: This is an RF only device so you must have dual-band Insteon devices within range, or 2443 access point(s) installed as needed to receive the RF signal.
