The Optex BX Shield Series Outdoor Hardwired 80’ Curtain PIR Sensor is a 4-element PIR curtain sensor with 12m of detection range on each side. Perfect for detecting intruders crossing boundaries or entering through doors or windows. Left and right detection areas can be independently monitored and the anti-masking technology prevents common PIR evasion tricks like placing obstacles in the way or covering the sensor. Easily connects to a fixed CCTV camera to send a visual alarm when trespassers cross line onto property or enter the immediate boundary of the premises.
4 PIR elements, 2 on each side ensure the best performance in outdoor environments; dual beams required for triggering—ignoring small to medium sized animals like dogs and wild animals. Ideal for residences, warehousing, garages, and more.
