About the product
The CX-WC15XFM from Camden is a kit which includes both push plate switches and a mushroom push button with the words “Push for Emergency Assistance” written on it meant for flush mounting. Its components are all designed to meet the latest requirements of Ontario Reg. 368/13 amendment to 2012 OBC for barrier-free restrooms.
The AURA ™ illuminated push plate switches included in the kit will change colour depending on their state, giving the user a visual of if it has been activated.
The CX-EMF-2 multifunction relay included in the kit can be configured so that the restroom door will unlock automatically after 15 minutes has passed and the ‘assistance required’ signal appliance will activate so that the attendant staff (common in a health care facility) can provide aid.
The kit consists of a CX-EMF-2 multifunction relay, a CM-45/855SE1 flush 4 ½” “Push to Lock” Illuminated push plate switch with sign, a CM-45/455SE1 flush 4 ½” illuminated wheelchair & “Push to Open” push plate with sign, CM-45/5 “Push to Open” 4 ½” square push plate switch, a CM-55CBL flush square mounting box for CM-45/4, a CM-450R/12 “Press for Emergency Assistance” mushroom button and a CX-MDA magnetic door contact.
