The Hikvision EXIR Motorized Varifocal Bullet Explosion-Proof Camera is a combination of extremely high fidelity recording inside an international ATEX & IECEx certified explosion-proof and corrosion-proof 316L stainless steel housing with IP68 water resistance—providing extended protection against sparks, corrosive material or vapours like marine spray, fine particulate dust, and more. With a wide range of acceptable power supplies from 100-240VAC (0.4A – 0.17A) on terminal block connectors, to hardened PoE cabling, installers can use custom solutions to ensure a safer and longer-lasting connection (compared to external power adapters) for hazardous or corrosive environments—from gas stations and industrial shop floors to marine environments like industrial ports or seaside surveillance cameras.
With a high-end ½’’ Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor, still image resolution up to 8MP and 4K video resolution with built-in IR recording, users can enjoy crisp, uncompromising 24/7 detail with an ultra-durable exterior—and the built-in varifocal lens can be used to track, detect and record subjects like moving vehicles and people automatically, as well as track and log road metadata and target attributes (with supported hardware). Built-in smart features like motion detection, line crossing, intrusion and region entrance/exit detection can be linked to extended alarm output options, automatic audible warnings, surveillance centre/email notifications, and more.
