About the product

The ELK-M1KAM is designed for access control from your Elk M1 system. It connects to the Elk four wire keypad bus and provides an interface for a 26 bit Weigand reader/keypad, Dallas ""One-Wire"" input, plus it has a FORM C relay for controlling door strikes, gate locks, etc.

The ELK-M1KAM has two built-in supervised inputs for door status sensor, RTE (request to exit) button or devices.  It also has built-in switched outputs for ""System Ready, System Armed, Door Left Open"" conditions.

ELK-M1KAM M1 System Access Module Features:

  • Connects to M1 keypad bus, compatible with M1EZ8 and M1Gold systems
  • Input for Dalls ""one wire"" ibutton reader such as ELK-MA100
  • Heavy duty Form ""C"" Relay output for door strikes or gate locks
  • Low current switched negative output for ""Door Held Open
  • Low current switched negative output for ""System Ready To Arm
  • Low current switched negative output for ""System Armed
  • Supervised input for RTE (request to exit)
  • Supervised input for Door Status sensor
  • Four selectable time settings for ""Request to Exit"" and ""Door Held Open
  • Hardware Watchdog Circuit
  • Operating voltage: 13.8VDC
