The FloLogic whole-home leak detection and water shutoff system provides the ultimate level of water damage prevention for a wide range of properties—from single-home dwellings with aging pipes and vacation homes prone to having frozen pipes burst, to multi-unit and rental properties that require a convenient property management solution without requiring trained on-site management during a crisis. The FloLogic EverWatch flow-sensing system measures water flow and detects pressure anomalies as small as a few ounces, and as little as 15mL per minute; and automatically turns off the water supply before extensive property damage can occur, even on properites with flow rates as high as 100 gallons per minute!
Most insurance companies offer discounted rates for properties with FloLogic systems installed as they are designed to prevent damage from occurring immediately; rather than cheaper flood-protection systems which use physical water sensors which require water damage to have already occurred to a large enough degree for water to pool on the floor before shut-off or alarming occurs. The FloLogic system can prevent both insidious pinhole leaks that can occur within walls, and can shut off when catastrophic loss of pressure occurs, like a pipe bursting or an appliance disconnecting, all within seconds of the leak occurring. With the included Gateway module, users can be alerted to leaks, manually actuate the valve and make changes to settings and schedules from anywhere in the world! With ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ settings, the FloLogic system can be set to tolerate small pressure anomalies to allow water to flow uninterrupted to devices like washing machines and dishwashers, while shutting off much more quickly in ‘Away’ mode—all tolerances can be individually set and adjusted, and routines and patterns can be pre-programmed to provide 24/7 security. With the built-in battery backup, the FloLogic can even continue to protect connected properties during blackouts or power failures.
The FloLogic system can be installed on domestic main water intakes in 1’’, 1.5’’ and 2’’ intake sizing. Professional installation by a licensed plumber is strongly recommended. FloLogic valves use solid US-made, lead-free cast bronze with a stainless-steel actuator ball mechanism—built to last with UL, cUL, UPC, cUPC and NSF 61-8 certification, and backed by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
FloLogic devices can also be connected to individual lines as well as main intakes— ie. water softeners/heaters, irrigation systems, and more— providing additional shut-off automation for costly or insidious leaks from aging or sensitive hardware. External 120/240v relay controller (sold separately) can also be integrated into even larger and more complex whole-building security and asset-protection systems.
Additional I/O modules, RF sensors and additional automation options are coming soon from FloLogic, allowing users to expand their systems for even more essential leak-prevention in the future!
Package includes full-port valve assembly, flow-sensor body with backup battery, UL-listed Class II power supply, Gateway and Wireless Gateway Connect Module with power supply and ethernet cabling, 25’ communication cable. Physical control panel sold separately.
