This motion sensor from Home Seer can be used to trigger events when detecting movement. It can be used to perform a variety of automations including turning on lights, sending notifications, sound alarms or having the heating turn on. Imagine coming home after a long day and having the lights turn on automatically for you or know when someone has entered your home by receiving a notification on your smartphone.
The HS-MS100+ supports Z-Wave Plus, meaning it can take advantage of all the latest features of this newest generation of Z-Wave. This includes an improved battery life, range and as well as improved noise immunity to prevent interference from other devices. If your home controller also supports S2 security encryption it can be added as a secure device. Unit functionality won’t be affected if encryption isn’t present.
Quick and easy to install, the sensor makes use of a magnetic mount which allows it to be versatile when needing to be adjusted. A blue LED indicator shows when the sensor detects motion. It comes with a CR123a battery, mounting hardware and user guide. It can also charge using a USB power adapter. Adapter sold separately.
