The sections can be separated a full 20 inches, allowing anyone to position the keyboard in what is a comfortable, neutral position for them. This keyboard prevents the extension of the wrists by employing a 0 degree slope from the front to the back - most keyboards have a 10 degree positive slope. This model uses Cherry MX Brown Low Force Tactile switches which use a low activation force and a force curve that provides tactility, preventing you from "bottoming out" while typing. This is the model with Tactile Brown switches, this keyboard is also available in a model with Cherry MX Red Quiet Linear keyswitches switches (KB900-RDQ).
