The HomeSeer MS100 G8 Z-Wave Plus Long Range Motion Sensor is a Z-Wave Plus compact PIR that can sense motion (or lack thereof) and alarm up to 300 feet from your ZWave home hub or controller. Using a single CR123A battery or USB power supply (not included) users can quickly mount and monitor any room without complicated wiring or installation. When powered via USB, the motion sensor can act as a ZWave repeater-- strengthening other ZWave sensor connections and improving network health and reliability automatically.
Can be user-adjusted to sense motion, or set to detect when motion stops after pre-set intervals-- perfect for triggering lights when users enter a room and turning them off when the room is unoccupied; or any other custom automations. Battery-operation includes battery level reporting and low-power alarms, preventing downtime for completely wireless sensors.
Compact 2'' x 2'' x 2'' design allows for subtle installation that blends in with your decor, and the included magnetic mount with double-sided tape and screw allows for desktop, wall or ceiling mounting with no power tools required. Built-in blue LED indicator provides visual indication of operation as well as troubleshooting and diagnostics. Requires Z-Wave-equipped home hub for operation. Indoor installation only.
