Product information summary

About the product
The Shelly Wave 1 UL Long Range in-line Z-Wave device wires in behind most standard-sized wallboxes and transforms ordinary lights and appliances into Z-Wave Long-Range capable smart devices with up to a massive 1 mile of transmission distance.
Ideal for residential and commercial retrofitting, connects into a single device for remote on/off functionality, such as lightbulbs, IR heaters, electric locks and strikes, garage doors, irrigation systems and more. Supports switching of appliances up to 15A @ 110-240VAC or 10A @24-48/12VDC.
Selectable Z-Wave LR or Mesh networking supports a variety of installs—for smaller installs, Mesh networking increases the reliability of nearby or future Z-Wave sensors and devices; while Z-Wave LR transmission is optimized for large spaces like universities, hospitals, warehousing, and much more.
Supported by most major home hub systems, including Home Assistant, Home Centre 3, Jeedom, Homey, SmartThings, Hubitat and more. For additional compatibility information, consult Shelly’s compatibility listings.
For indoor use only. Consult wiring guide for device connection information. For inductive appliances that cause voltage spikes during switching on/off, such as electrical motors, fans, vacuum cleaners and similar ones, RC snubber (0.1 µF / 100 Ohms / 1/2 W / 600 VAC) should be connected parallel to the appliance.
