Designed to keep small children safe by preventing foreign objects such as paperclips, keys or hairpins from being inserted into an electrical outlet, the Leviton T5632-T tamper resistant receptacle is a great option for residential, commercial and educational institutions alike. In addition to two receptacles, this model also comes with two USB ports so that you can charge two devices directly through it, leaving the receptacles free for other electronic devices. The unit comes in a Light Almond finish.
Installation is quick and can be used to replace existing outlets. The receptacle can be side wired, however, if more than one wire is required on a terminal back wiring will be required. Remember also to always turn off power at the circuit breaker during installation. If you are unsure about being able to install the receptacle please contact an electrician.
