The TRENDnet 9 Port Industrial 2.5G DIN-Rail PoE++ Switch is an industrially hardened gigabit-speed switch with a 10G SFP+ port for high-end fiber-optic or copper connections. Designed to meet high-end, heavily trafficked network requirements while also delivering reliable performance in harsh environmental conditions, like industrial spaces, non-climate-controlled outbuildings and other installations where standard indoor networking equipment would require constant maintenance and downtime, with an effective operating temperature range between -40° to 75° C (-40° to 167° F).
Two 2.5G PoE++ ports provide up to 100W of power to connected devices, ideal for high-end PTZ cameras or other connected devices with heavy network throughput that require additional power, and the 480W total PoE power budget provides ample headroom for multiple power-hungry devices to be connected at the same time. Multiple power inputs ensure simple integration for a variety of installs, and additional alarm outputs— when integrated into an alarm system—can alert users of power failures for enhanced network monitoring.
For indoor use in unconditioned spaces, IP50 rating provides protection against dust and particulate ingress. This unit is not waterproof and requires protection from water ingress to avoid damage to the product, connected devices and the user.
