About the product

The UT-4000 is a simple to use universal-transmitter that is compatible with Dakota Alert 4000 series receivers. It can be used like a wireless doorbell or wireless gate entrance button when used with a Dakota 4000 receiver. It also comes with a magnet and can be mounted to a door frame, window frame, cupboard or cabinet to monitor when any of these have been opened.  Finally, it has a universal dry contact input for connecting to any sort of contact closure.

IMPROVED WIRELESS SIGNAL FROM 2500 MODEL

When triggered by the button, magnet sensor, or dry contact - the UT4000 sends a wireless signal up to 1 mile or 4000 feet* to the Dakota 4000 wireless receiver (not included) which will play a tune and light up the LED indicator.

The UT4000 operates on a 3-volt lithium battery that can last up to a year depending on number of activations and temperature.
