The Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 has a uniquely patented contoured vertical design which moves your hand from ""palm down"" to a vertical ""handshake"" position, a design which has been found to be more comfortable for many users since its release over a decade ago. This mouse has a lip along the bottom of the mouse to prevent your pinky finger from dragging on the desk, and contouring which provides comfort, reduced grip force and exceptional control. Performance driven improvements include an instantly accessible pointer speed control button on the side of the mouse allowing you to select between Extra Low, Low, Medium and High, giving you the ability to select the degree of precision you require for each task. An additional thumb button can also be reconfigured once a driver is installed. This is the Small, Wireless, Right-Handed model (VM4SW - black housing with metallic brown) and the VerticalMouse 4 also comes in a Small, Wired model (VM4S - black housing with purple buttons). The small models are suitable for people with hands which are shorter than 7"" (17.8 cm) long from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist crease, standard models are for hands longer than 7"" (17.8 cm). The VerticalMouse 4 comes in a Standard size wired model in either right (VM4R) or left (VM4L) in a dark grey housing with silver buttons. A Standard sized Right-Handed Wireless model is also available (VM4RW - black housing with dark metallic blue buttons).
