The First Alert 1039840 Smoke Alarm features a built-in 10-year battery and uses dual photoelectric and ionization smoke sensing for early warning of flaming and smouldering fires. A single button both silences and tests the detector for easy operation.
There's no need to worry about changing the battery throughout the detector's lifetime, thanks to the built-in battery. The sensor can easily be installed and changed out because it does not need wires.
