These units are maintenance free with a 10 year warranty and 10 year Lithium battery pre-installed.
You can add additional coverage by adding AC10-500A wired units or more 1042253 battery powered units anywhere you like. These will also connect wirelessly with each other for multi-room alerts and location indication.
