Easily upgrade older or legacy Z-Net or HomeTroller devices with Z-Wave module 2014 Rev C or D flashed with SDK 6.51.6 to 500-series Z-Wave technology-- greatly expanding compatibility with modern Z-Wave devices and enhancing both connectivity security.
Allows users to upgrade further to 800-Series Z-Wave, see HT-800-UPG-KIT for HomeTroller Zee S2, Pi or Pi G3 devices and ZNET-800-UPG-KIT for legacy Z-Net devices.
Please note: If you already have Z-Wave module 2015 Rev E installed in your Z-NET or HomeTroller, you do not need this add-on module.
500-UPG-KIT Specs and Features
- Requires early (500 series) Z-NET or HomeTroller (typically 2014 or older)
- Upgrades legacy controllers to 500-Series Z-Wave, allows for further upgrades to 800-Series Z-Wave (additional hardware sold separately)
- HAT-style (Hardware Attached on Top) replacement radio, replaces existing 500 HAT on original board
