Wide rack design allows for additional space beside the vertical mounting rails for passing cabling from front-to-back in the enclosure. It provides plenty of clearance at the back for Rack PDUs and cable managers not to interfere with IT device hot swappable components. The width is ideal for converged and hyperconverged IT which include a mix of server, storage, and network switches all in one rack.
