The Alfred DB2-B-CR motorized smart deadbolt is a stylish, low-profile keyless Bluetooth and PIN-based lock. The Alfred DB2-B is an upgraded version of the base model DB2 with built-in keyway to support a backup key (2x backup keys are included).
Compared to the DB1 series, the DB2-B features a more curved surface with matte finish, built-in speaker for voice prompts and a module slot for optional Z-Wave module.
Create up to 20 PIN codes for family members, deliveries or employees. PIN codes can be permanent, one time use only, or with time restraints. One-touch unlock combined with geofencing allows the user to easily unlock the door when coming home, and automatically lock when leaving.
The free iOS and Android apps from Alfred allow for local programming and control of the lock without the need for the lock to connect to WiFi or Internet.
The DB2-B deadbolt smart lock uses a hardened steel roller and has a 20 minute residential fire rating for safety.
The optional Alfred Connect WiFi bridge can be added to allow remote Internet control and settings updates, as well as connection to select smart platforms. It also enables integration with Google Home Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. The optional ZWave module allows connection to Z-Wave certified platforms like the Ring alarm, Alarm.com with ZWave, SmartThings, Hubitat, Ezlo, Vera and more.
PLEASE NOTE: Optional WiFi bridge required for remote control, alerts or integrations. Bluetooth keys do not require WiFi module. ZWave module also allows for remote alerts and control when used with a ZWave smart hub (sold separately).
