The DUAL-4000 Dirveway Alarm Kit from Dakota Alarms provides accurate and discreet vehicle detection of driveways.
Kit includes:
- 1 DAPT 4000 transmitter
- 2 inground probes
- 3 CR 123-A batteries
- 50 feet of sturdy burial wire
For a simple setup, secure the transmitter to a wall, post, tree or something similar, connect the probes to the transmitter via wire and bury the wire and probes in the desired spot. The probes can only detect vehicles, reducing false alarms from large animals or other fake stimuli.
The probe sensors can detect inbound and outbound traffic. They communicate that to the transmitter, which will then send that to a receiver (not included) up to 1 mile away. Please note this transmitter is only compatible with Dakota Alert 4000 series receivers.

- Discreet detection
- Can sense inbound or outbound traffic, with the option to ignore outgoing signals
- Reduced false alarms from large animals or lightning
- 1-mile range from transmitter to receiver
- Reliable battery operation - uses three CR-123 batters that can last up to one year
