The Skylink GS-MT garage door sensor lets you check your garage door while away so that you never need to worry about whether you’ve left your door open while at work or on vacation. It’s meant to be an add-on accessory to Skylink Alarm System Starter Kits SK-200 and SK-250 as well as M-series alarm systems.
The sensor can operate on a range of up to 600 feet depending on the amount of interference from external sources.
When used in an M-series alarm system, the sensor also has a loss of signal alert that will be triggered when the unit’s signal drops.
To get started, simply download the free SkylinkNet app on your smartphone. This will let you control and monitor your wireless garage door sensor from anywhere if you have a wireless signal.
Notifications will be sent to your phone whenever the sensor is triggered and an event log on the app will track of when the system has been armed and disarmed. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android and there is no contract or monthly fees.
The unit’s backup battery ensures that the sensor continues working even in the event of a power outage. The sensor comes with mounting materials and a user manual. Battery not included.
