The ION Plunger is recess mounted on the hing side of the door to provide protection that is invisible and cannot be tampered with, when the door is closed. The ION Plunger uses wireless technology so no wires are required to the alarm, with an average battery life of 5 years.
Installation is quick and easy, requiring a 3/4"" Forstner bit for the plunger and 1/4"" wood bit for the antenna that goes in behind the plunger.
