The Leviton LWHEM-2 Whole Home Energy Monitor kit provides real time energy use monitoring of Leviton Load Center or other panels, as well as monitoring solar, battery or generator sources. It has a contact input to connect with a transfer switch to allow load shedding during backup events using smart breakers.
The LWHEM-2 works with Gen1 and Gen2 Leviton WiFi breakers to enable smart features and notifications. When used with new Gen2 breakers, it allows remote on/off control of individual smart breakers.
The LWHEM-2 can also be used with other brands of electical panels for power monitoring only.
Leviton's LWHEM-2 and smart breakers work with the same MyLeviton app as their WiFI smart switches and plugs, and their smart enabled EV chargers for a complete hub-free ecosystem of smart home control and monitoring.
Be alerted to breaker trips, unusual power usage, or even remotely control and schedule the electrical system (Gen2 breakers) to conserve energy and shut off non-essential circuits when energy prices are at their peak. - Monitor whole-home energy consumption and production in real-time.
- Monitor solar and battery sources
- Remotely control (OFF/ON) Leviton 2nd Gen Smart Circuit Breakers.
- When integrated with an Automatic Transfer Switch and compatible backup power system, the LWHEM-2 automatically sheds nonessential 2nd Gen Smart Circuit Breakers when backup power is active, preserving power for essential circuits.

- Warranty: Two-Year Limited Warranty
- One pair of CTs (LSMMA) included; use up to three pairs of CTs plugged into the LWHEM-2.
