The Uniview NVR502 IQ-series NVR is an 8-channel PoE-powered NVR that supports cutting-edge, scalable camera installs, including specialty cameras like PTZ/fisheye cameras and LPR-equipped cameras, as well as ultra-HD cameras up to 16MP with a full suite of AI-powered analytics and smart features.
The IQ-series of Uniview NVRs support a wide variety of technologies like facial detection, vehicle detection, line crossing and zone intrusion, temperature detection, people counting, people flow and crowd density, traffic monitoring, and more. Intelligent Smart Intrusion Prevention (SIP) uses intelligent target classification and Ultra Motion Detection (UMD) to ensure ultra-precise automated security alerts while minimizing false alarms; all without dedicated operators or monitoring contracts. Target classification and ultra-fast multi-channel searching by target allows end-users to effortlessly identify and isolate footage without having to tediously scrub through hours of footage.
Target/vehicle classification supports up to 2 million unique face and vehicle IDs; up to 3 million SIP records, and up to 2 million assorted metadata records—ensuring long-term, highly accurate security, evidence, and alarming when identified targets or repeat offenders are detected. Rapid target acquisition reduces the need for dedicated security operators or 24/7 live monitoring, even on commerical or industrial sites.
Ultra H.265 compression supports up to 4K (3840 x 2160) playback from high-resolution cameras (up to 16MP without smart features, up to 12MP with smart features active) while minimizing file size to maximize storage space; and with 2 available SATA spaces with up to 16TB per drive, any install—from small businesses to sprawling multi-unit properties—can be easily scaled to size, or equipped with redundant storage for automatic recording backups.
Cloud upgrades and ANR (automatic network repair) technology ensures simple, one-click management of connected cameras for any skill level of end-user; reducing the need for repeat visits to clients for camera and network management issues. Two-way audio support allows for use with front-line security and active deterrence (with supported cameras). Supports a wide variety of cameras with ONVIF conformance (Profile S, G & T) as well as RTSP protocols for a total security solution for retrofit installs.
