The Paxton10 system Door Controller PAX-010-315-US in a plastic enclosure is an essential component for the Paxton10 system. The controller is a network device that works with TCP/IP and can be integrated into an existing system. It is a versatile solution for systems where centralized or low voltage power is available.
The controller is equipped with four inputs, tamper, 230v, door contact and RTE. An intruder alarm can be integrated as needed.
A TCIP/IP network switch with PoE+ is recommended. Battery backup is also possible.
SYSTEM CONNECTIVITY
Each door controller in the system controls a single door, and the ports allow for up to three connectors for additional connectivity. A single system can handle up to 1000 door controllers.
POE+
The door controller features a built-in PoE+ splitter that can supply the door controller and door lock via PoE, ensuring that 230v connectivity is not needed.
INSTALLATION
The device features a label that identifies the colour-coded connections for readers, power supply, lock etc. The 12v output for the lock can control any door, barrier, or gate. The diagnostic LEDs indicate the controller's status and its inputs and outputs.
OPERATION
Any changes in the Paxton10 system software are communicated immediately to the door controller. When a user uses their token, the control unit is able to identify them and grants permission or denies access as needed.
