Add an extra layer of protection to your home with the PG9922 from DSC. This wireless glass break detector will send you a notification in the event of a broken window or glass door. The detector uses acoustic pattern recognition technology to provide 360-degree coverage. This gives it the ability to detect sounds that other devices might not and limit false alarms from occurring.
Respond instantly to minimize damage due to weather conditions or preventing a full break-in from happening. A siren will activate on the detection of a break. Works with various types of glass including plate, tempered, laminated, wired, coated and sealed insulating glass up to 7.6m (25 feet).
Being a PowerG device, the detector can take advantage of the platforms many features. Multi-channel, Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum allows it to jump channels to avoid interference from other devices. Combined with TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) technology which allows for multiple users to access a single frequency without overloading the channel as well as preventing tampering. It also uses the AES-128 advanced encryption algorithm giving it bank-level security.
