It features an intuitive touch keypad that can be used an unlimited number of times. Plus, a braille label is available as an optional accessory with embossed braille lettering for the visually impaired. With IP66, NEMA 4X, and IK07 ratings, this secure RFID reader is ideal for use in harsh environments both indoors and outdoors. Plus, there's a weathershield accessory for extra protection.

AXIS A4120-E Reader gives you the flexibility and possibility needed to quickly respond to future changes, while also ensuring backward compatibility. Designed to meet specific system requirements, it supports most types of smart RFID card standards with 13.56MHz credential technologies including MIFARE Classic®, MIFARE Plus®, MIFARE DESFire® EV1, and EV2. Additionally, it includes out-of-the-box support for Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for secure bidirectional communication. This smart reader is easy to install on single gang boxes or mounted on the wall. Furthermore, it enables easy and remote device management including new feature upgrades, device configuration, and security enhancement via Axis access control solutions.

It's packed with built-in cybersecurity features to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard your system. For instance, signed firmware and secure boot guarantee that the firmware hasn't been compromised and ensure only authorized firmware is installed. And if needed, secure boot guarantees the reader is completely free of malware even after a factory default. This RFID reader includes an EAL6+ Certified Secure Element for added protection. And tamper detection lets you know if there's any attempt to interfere with the device.
