Esta tarjeta de interfaz de red (NIC) de 2,5 GbE con dos puertos incorpora chipsets Intel I225-V independientes y permite la actualización de servidores o la sustitución de tarjetas Ethernet PCIe. Ofrece opciones de varias velocidades (2,5 G/1 G/100 M/10 Mbps) para compatibilidad con hardware de red antiguo o reciente. Mejora la velocidad de la red, habilita Intel vPro para la gestión remota y admite velocidades de hasta 2,5 GBase-T Gbps mediante Cat5e. Para garantizar un rendimiento fiable, se utilizan dos chipsets Intel I225-V, que proporcionan controladores Ethernet independientes a cada puerto. La tarjeta se conecta mediante dos ranuras de expansión PCI Express 2.0 (o superior), admite funciones avanzadas como arranque PXE, WoL, etiquetado VLAN y dúplex completo, y es compatible con Windows, Windows Server y Linux.
