The HomeSeer SmartStick G8 is the second generation of USB ZWave Plus attachments for HomeSeer, Home Assistant and other supported ZWave smart home software. Featuring a greatly improved range over previous ZWave generations with backwards compatibility for older devices, and S2 Security + Secure Vault™ compatibility for inclusion of premium security products like locks and access control, the SmartStick G8 is perfect for upgrading older controllers running ZDK version 6.61 or later, or new installs in larger homes or residences. The SmartStick G8 when paired with a HomeSeer controller can enroll multiple different ZWave frequencies-- allowing convenient integration of a wide variety of sensors and wireless products, regardless of the intended operating frequency.
Please note: the SmartStick G8 is not upgradeable via PC. Upgrades must be performed through a HomeSeer ZWave Plus plugin or the Home Assistant ZWave JS UI (9.9.0 or later). Performing updates through a PC will brick the device and void the warranty.

- Built-in 800 Series Z-Wave Module
- Includes ZDK 7.20.2 or later

- Package Includes: SmartStick G8, Quick Start Guide
- Supports international Z-Wave regions when used with HomeSeer or Home Assistant software or hubs.
- Compatibility: Any Z-Wave certified smart home software or hub (including all HomeSeer systems) running under Linux or Windows 7 (or higher).
- HomeSeer HS4 system running V4 Z-Wave plugin OR any software that's compatible with Z-Wave Plus controllers.
- For upgrading from another controller: HomeSeer Z-Wave Plus plugin or Z-Wave JS US v9.9.0 (or later). Previous controller must be running ZDK 6.61 or later.
- Warranty: 1-year manufacturer's warranty
