This is the same as the standard Intermatic ST01C except in an Almond finish. The Intermatic ST01A replaces a standard wall switch and can be used to turn devices off or on based on a timed schedule or sunrise/sunset times. It comes pre-programmed with current DST times for USA and Canada, and has a built-in astronomical clock so that sunrise and sunset change with the seasons automatically, so you can set it and forget it.
The ST01A supports any kind of lighting including: fluorescent and compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs, ballasts, AC fans, appliances, motors, and more within its specified ratings (see below for more details).
The ST01A can be used in single pole (one switch) and 3-way applications, and features a built-in LCD readout for simple programming and at-a-glace readouts. It also supports manual override, and even features a battery back-up so programming isn't lost during power failures.
Additional features like the 'Random' feature option ensures the house has a more natural lived in look rather than a strict timer controlled look-- allowing for a subtle added layer of security and privacy.
