TRENDnet’s 28-Port Multi-Gig Web Smart Switch TEG-3284WS is designed to meet the evolving demands of modern SMB networks with advanced L2+ features and enhanced traffic management controls. This rack-mountable, IPv6-ready switch features an intuitive web-based interface for easy management.
Key features include LACP for increased bandwidth by grouping ports, VLANs for segmenting virtual LAN groups, QoS for traffic prioritization, port bandwidth controls, and SNMP monitoring. The voice VLAN feature allows for the isolation and prioritization of VoIP traffic, improving voice performance.
With TRENDnet HIVE cloud monitoring, you can manage and configure the switch remotely, reducing management time and costs. This cloud-managed switch requires no additional hardware, server, or personal cloud, thanks to TRENDnet’s reliable cloud service.
The TEG-3284WS is equipped with 2.5G RJ-45 ports, providing speeds up to 2.5Gbps over existing Cat5e or better cabling. It also includes four dedicated 10G SFP+ ports for high-speed network connections, offering an affordable solution for adding 10G link capability to existing networks. The fanless design reduces energy consumption and eliminates operating noise, making it a cost-effective solution to enhance your network’s throughput.
